Took the kids hiking at Lassen. 😎

My son wanted to climb a rock. I went up first to show him it was safe, then came back down to help him up.

His cousins were already at the top cheering him on.

And he goes full wet noodle. 😂

I’m pushing from the bottom, cousins are pulling from the top, and he is giving us absolutely nothing.

That’s when it hit me. 💡

You cannot want something for someone more than they want it for themselves.

Doesn’t matter how much you push. Doesn’t matter how much support they have or how many people are cheering at the top.

If they don’t want it, they won’t do what it takes to get there. 🤷🏻‍♀️

This is true in all aspects of life.

This was such a good reminder for me 🥰
